The one-act ballet inspired by C. S. Lewis’ novel The Great Divorce explores the nature of eternity and the joy found on its shores. Also included Slager’s popular work Meditations, on light and perspective, based on C.S. Lewis’ essay "Meditations in a Toolshed," and Slager’s Of Splendors and Horrors, inspired by C.S. Lewis’ book The Weight of Glory.
