CodeCrew and The Memphis Public Libraries are hosting the Designers & Data: Tech Wearables Program powered by Infosys Foundation USA to introduce high school students in grades 7th - 12th to computer science through fashion. This program aims to help students depict how technology merges with fashion and provides students with the hands-on skills required to succeed in this field.
What will participants do?
Participants will learn how to write code using Adafruit Circuit Playground. In addition, participants will also learn some basics about sewing to integrate the circuit into clothing.
The course will be taught at five different library branches in the Memphis area. You can only sign up for one location per student. Please be advised of the location and day the class is meeting.

Students will attend class once a week after school for 15 weeks to design their products with a final presentation at the Central Library.
