October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. The Tennessee Branch of The International Dyslexia Association is hosting a free community event for parents and educators. Session topics include:

Using a Multisensory Approach with Dyslexia and English Language Learners.

Handwriting - Does it Matter?

Recognizing and Reducing Anxiety and Stress in Dyslexic Learners.

The Learning Disabilities Simulation Hands-on Lab open during lunch and after sessions enables participants to see what challenges dyslexic people face every day.
