Family Fun Day

Twice a year, the Metal Museum hosts a day of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and kid-friendly games on the Museum grounds. Join us for a day of fun, educational programming and enjoy free admission to the Museum!

We will have two free activities available:

Wire Figures – Learn how to create wire armature figures just like a sculptor. Participants will shape, bend, and twist wire to create dynamic figures and fun shapes.

Press and Paint – Press model magic clay into metal or plaster molds. Once the clay has dried, add paint to create your own unique casting.

Our paid activities:

Take away your very own sculpture from the iron pour. You will scratch your design into the tile which will then be cast in iron.
