Jan. 7: Film: Raven Tales: Rough Face Girl. This short, animated film tells the story of Dza, a young Native American girl who goes on a journey to learn that true beauty lies within. (25 minutes)
Jan. 14: Film: Tales of Wonder 1. Cherokee storyteller Gregg Howard shares Native American stories and legends that have been passed down through generations. Stories include Why Rabbit Has a Short Tail (the result of playing tricks on others) and How Deer Got Antlers (the disgrace of cheating). (60 minutes).
Jan. 21: Film: Tales of Wonder 2. The second half of Gregg Howard’s award winning story series. Tales include The Ball Game (the smallest can be the bravest) and Flying Squirrel (the power of believing in oneself). (60 minutes).
