International Archaeology Day at Chucalissa Museum

This year's festivities feature flint knapping demonstrations, dart making demonstrations, interactive dart throwing, crafts, pine needle basket weaving, short films, a guided tour of the trail and a behind-the-scenes tour of the excavation trench (normally closed off to public viewing). 

Afterwards, visit the hands-on archeology lab, the exhibit galleries and visit the archeological mounds, all for the price of regular admission!
