Lest We Forget Commemoration at Hattiloo Theatre

Hattiloo curates an eight-month long commemoration remembering the African-American community's achievements, rejoicings, and struggles. The series uses theatre, film, scholarship and music to share the 400 year history (1619-2019).

Commemoration schedule: January through August. - On select Mondays from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

25 March Dr. Earnestine Jenkins with Dr. Charles McKinney - Ripples from Slavery

20 May Journey through African American Music

24 June Our Faith, Our Story (Pastor J. Lawrence Turner, Minister Anthony Mohammed, and Sadio)

29 July Screen the film Sankofa

26 August Family Reunion Dinner
