Memphis Empty Bowls Project at Crosstown Concourse
to
Crosstown Concourse 1350 Concourse Ave., Memphis, Tennessee
Artisans, educators and students, and others around the Memphis area create handcrafted and hand-painted bowls to raise funds to fight hunger. Guests are invited to a delicious, simple dinner of soup and bread donated by local restaurants where they may select one of the beautiful, handcrafted bowls to take home as a reminder of the bowls that go empty in Memphis, as well as the inspiring work being done in our community to fight hunger.
This year's event will include an art market and live music!
The goals of Memphis Empty Bowls Project are threefold:
• Raising awareness about food insecurity in our city
• Raising funds and publicity for local organizations committed to fighting hunger
• Encouraging our community to experience creativity as an act of compassionate service to our neighbors
