Naturalization Ceremonies and Informational Fair at Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library

Memphis Public Libraries host Naturalization Ceremonies to honor Dr. King and the 1968 "I AM A MAN" sanitation strikers. Two ceremonies will be held. At the first ceremony held from 11 a.m until noon, 100 candidates representing 36 countries will become naturalized U.S. citizens. At the second one held from 1-2 p.m. , 100 more candidates representing 38 countries will join the "Dream" Dr. King gave his life to accomplish 50 years ago. 

New this year, an International Fair will follow the ceremonies featuring helpful resources and community services. Call 415-2709 for details.
