In this workshop, we work together to close read song lyrics of simple popular songs that were produced at Stax Records and sampled by current artists. We explore inspiration and influence of rhythm, blues, and beats to create our own works of art. Led by Stax Music Academy Alumni Band members, this will be a great workshop for all ages.
