Dress in your favorite book character costume and come celebrate reading with Ruby Bridges at the Museum Courtyard. Features face painting, balloon animals, dance and musical performances, and food trucks. Southern College of Optometry conducts free eye screenings for children.  Book giveaways for children pre-K through elementary.  Educators with school ID also receive free books for their classroom.
