Between Us Girls at The Haven

Between Us Girls is a two and a half hour interactive and educational workshop for women 18 and older. This event is perfect if your new graduate is going away to college!

The purpose of Between Us Girls is to create an environment conducive to open and honest dialogue surrounding HIV and AIDS in a fun an interactive way. Attendees will learn the importance of creating/identifying value systems, making positive choices about their bodies and how to foster healthy relationships based upon this value system, HIV/AIDS/STI knowledge, and effective communication skills while engaging with a diverse panel of women sharing their lived experiences.

The end goal is to provide risk-reduction strategies and improve decision-making skills to reduce rates of HIV, STI, unintended pregnancy and intimate partner violence.
