With a ton of booming celebrations happening across the city this weekend to ring in Independence Day, here are a few family-friendly happenings we've rounded up for you.

Liberty for All Festival & Fireworks | July 3, 5-9 p.m.
Location: Liberty Park Memphis
Join Memphis Parks and the City of Memphis — in collaboration with Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and Oak View Group — for an Independence Day festival and the official City fireworks show in Liberty Park. This event includes live music and entertainment, local food trucks, and fireworks show (starting at dusk). Admission and parking is free.

Bartlett Fireworks Extravaganza | July 3, 6-9:30 p.m.
Location: Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center (Highway 70 & Appling Road)
The City of Bartlett's celebration includes live music, featuring the Bartlett Community Concert Band and back by popular demand, Kevin and Bethany Paige; a Classic Car "Show & Shine;" concessions/food trucks, and fireworks show (starting at 9:10 p.m.). All activities will be on the lawn of the Bartlett Performing Arts & Conference Center and Appling Middle School.

Collierville Independence Day Celebration | July 3, 6-9:30 p.m.
Location: H.W. Cox Park
The Town of Collierville's celebration includes entertainment, food vendors, and an 18-minute fireworks show (starting at 9:30 p.m.). The event kicks off with country rock sister duo, American Blonde, followed by the Soul Shockers performing a mix of classic 60's Motown, 70's funk, and today's top dance hits.

Central Gardens July 4th Parade | July 4, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: Belvedere Blvd, north of Peabody
The Central Gardens Association will host its annual parade festivities, including live Bluegrass and Second Line marching bands, hot dogs (free while supplies last), popsicles, and coffee from Byway Coffee. Plus Squirt, Subaru’s vintage Japanese fire engine! All are welcome to attend — you do not have to be a Central Gardens resident to enjoy the parade.
For the first time in several years, parade floats will return, and a series of contests in the following categories:
- Most Patriotic Pet
- Best Float
- Most Patriotic Attire
- Best Decorated House (new in 2025)

Cooper-Young 4th of July Block Party | July 4, 10 a.m.
Location: Peabody Elementary
Join the Cooper-Young Community Association for a 4th of July block party, and enjoy frozen treats from Mempops, music, face-painting, and a special appearance by the Memphis Fire Department.

Downtown Memphis Fourth of July Celebration | July 4, 6-9 p.m.
Location: River Garden Park | Fourth Bluff Park | Riverside Drive
The Downtown Memphis Commission is bringing back the fireworks celebration to the mighty Mississippi river.
After several years away from the water, Memphis’ beloved riverfront fireworks show is back. This event is free and includes three scenic locations: River Garden Park, Fourth Bluff Park, and a portion of Riverside Drive — all with live entertainment, food trucks, games, vendors, and festive activities for all ages. Fireworks show begins at 9 p.m.

Germantown Fireworks Extravaganza | July 4, 5-10 p.m.
Location: Municipal Park
The City of Germantown will celebrate with live entertainment, crafts, refreshments, and fireworks display (starting at 9:10 p.m.).
(Note: Several roads will be closed in connection with the Fourth of July activities at Municipal Park).
