Mid-South Gifted Academy (MSGA) will host its annual Children's Business Fair — a one-day market that gives children (ages 6-17) the opportunity to showcase their very own handcrafted businesses — this Sat., May 3, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., on the MSGA campus near Collierville's Town Square.
The Children’s Business Fair inspires young entrepreneurs to discover their skills and talents by developing a brand, creating a product or service, building a marketing strategy, in preparation to open for customers at the one-day marketplace. Attendees can explore 75 booths featuring handmade items such as soaps, desserts, jewelry, and toys at this year's event highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship in shaping the next generation of leaders.
Hosted by MSGA, whose mission is to develop innovators and world changers by creating opportunities for children to discover and use their gifts and talents, the business fair is an opportunity for children to get excited about the creative process of innovation and entrepreneurship.
At MSGA, we're dedicated to providing educational and enrichment opportunities that empower children to discover and utilize their gifts, talents, and passions," says Amanda Nixon, director of student life. "The Children’s Business Fair is just one of the ways we strive to fulfill our mission and inspire young minds to explore the exciting world of entrepreneurship."
