From egg hunts to bunny hops, Easter activities abound in April.
FRIDAY, APRIL 11
After Dark Easter Egg Hunt. Cameron Brown Park. 7:30 p.m. For ages 9 to 12. Bring flashlights for an after-dark egg hunt. Concessions available. Eggs are filled with candy, so bring a basket to collect goodies. Registration deadline: Wednesday, April 9. Rain date: Tuesday, April 15. To register, call 757-7375. SATURDAY, APRIL 12
Easter Eggstravaganza. Cameron Brown Park. 10 a.m. Egg hunts: ages 1-2 years at 10:30 a.m., 3-4 years, 11 a.m. ages 5-6, 11:30 a.m. ages 7-8, noon. The annual Easter Eggstravaganza also features a free petting zoo, moon bounce, and monster mural. Meet the Easter Bunny, find candy-filled eggs, and have an eggstravagant time. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Children’s Museum of Memphis. 9:30-10:30 a.m. Enjoy sausage biscuits, chicken minis, hash browns, donuts, juice, and coffee. $6/members, $20/nonmembers. Easter Eggstravaganza. Children’s Museum of Memphis. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Calling all bunnies to hop, skip, and jump to CMOM for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Eggtivities include face painting, an eggroll, sack race, and crafts. Egg hunt begins at 11:30 a.m. Kids will hunt for eggs, stuffed animals, and cash-filled golden eggs. Free/members, $15/non-members. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Easter Egg Hunt 2014. Dixon Gallery and Gardens. 10:30 a.m. Hunt begins at 10:45. $8/members; $10/nonmembers. Reservations required, 761-5250.
Easter Eggstravaganza. YMCA at Schilling Farms. Ages/times vary: Ages 3-5 at 1:30 p.m. (parent/guardian must accompany child in the water); ages 6-7 at 1:45 p.m.; ages 8-9 at 2 p.m.; & ages 10-14 at 2:15 p.m. Arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time. Collect floating plastic eggs in the indoor pool. Activities follow in the meeting room. $5 per child. Register by Thursday, April 17. Space is limited. No walk-ins. 850-9622.
Family Egg Hunt. Memphis Botanic Garden. 1-4 p.m. Families can explore the garden in search of hidden eggs, with prizes for grown-ups and kids alike. Age-specific hunts take place at designated times: ages 2 & under: 2:30 p.m., ages 3-5 yrs: 2:45 p.m., ages 6-9 yrs: 3 p.m. Family egg hunt through the garden from 1 p.m. until all eggs are found. (1 prize egg per family, please.) Enjoy a magic show, live music, kids crafts, plus photos with the Easter Bunny and concessions. Advance tickets online. MBG members/$6, nonmembers/$8. Under 2 free.
