A stunning performance by Briarcrest Christian School’s OneVoice, an A capella choir that features 12 students from the school, got people talking in social media circles recently. A television clip showed up on the popular website, Buzzfeed.
The choir garnered plenty of attention for their riveting showing at the National A Capella Convention, a competition that took place in April. Buzzfeed writes "OneVoice’s albums have won major awards, including the 2015 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for Best High School Album and Best High School Soloist."
What turned heads was their moving rendition of the song “Who You Are,” by Jessie J. It showcases a number of their female voicalists, all singing unaccompanied. It’s definitely worth a listen.
They've also got an album out, Starry Eyed. Don't miss it.
