The Like You Film Club recently announced the launching of its first Like You Children’s Film Festival, a weekend of family fun and discovery — November 22-23, at the Pink Palace Museum.
Participants can discover new independent feature films, or engage in short films by the freshest voices in children’s filmmaking. The two-day fest will include a mix of feature-length and short films — live-action, animation, and documentary formats — created for kids and families, with a full schedule of 6-10 features and short-film blocks, unveiled at a preview party this past October.

The festival also includes workshops, Q&As with local filmmakers, interactive crafts and activities, special story time with New York Times bestselling author Brad Montague, and more.
The Like You Children’s Film Festival is a flagship event of Like You Film Club, a year-round initiative dedicated to supporting the mental health and emotional development of children through entertaining and meaningful media.
Films help children explore big emotions and see the world from new perspectives,” says Noah Glenn, founder of the festival and host of the award-winning Like You: Mindfulness for Kids podcast. “Through this festival, we’re inviting kids to see their experiences and feelings reflected in ways that inspire curiosity, kindness, and connection.”
