St. Benedict at Auburndale Catholic High School (SBA) recently unveiled its new St. Sebastian Outdoor Sports Weight Room on campus for student athletes.
Located in Cordova, SBA is a diocesan, coeducational, college-preparatory school with a 36-acre campus complete with STEM, business, fine arts, and athletic programs.

Funded entirely by donations from the SBA community, the $55,000 enhancement has been named after the patron saint of athletes, and is furnished with advanced equipment to help students with athletic training for outdoor sports and to prepare them for next-level competition.
As we continue to grow and improve our school, this weightroom is a project that has brought together our school leaders and community members past and present,” says Mitch McDaniel, athletic director at SBA. “We are extremely excited for all of our student athletes to have an opportunity to develop in such a beautiful space."
The new facilities addition is a major upgrade for the school as it believes sports is bigger than just games — it’s an opportunity for students to learn teamwork, leadership, and perseverance.
