This summer, Creative Life Incorporated is offering free breakfast and lunch to children in Memphis in participation of the Summer Food Service Program. Daily breakfast and lunch will be served starting Monday, June 3rd, and continue through Friday, July 19th. Breakfast will be served from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m., and lunch will be served from noon until 1 p.m.
“The mission of Creative Life Inc. is to provide meals for the underserved children of Memphis during the summer months when school is out and children are less likely to have nutritious meals,” says Marilyn Williams, executive director for Creative Life Incorporated.
Meals will be provided at Creative Life’s location at 1222 Riverside Blvd. on a first-come, first-served basis to all children regardless of race, sex, national origin, age, or disability.
Creative Life has participated in the Summer Food Service Program for 5 years and participates in similar food programs throughout the year, including the School Nutrition and the DHS Supper programs.
