It's usually about now that kids start whining, "There's nothing to dooooo." But they don't have to be planted in front of the tube all summer. Send them to tennis camp.
Memphis Tennis is offering tennis camps that run week-to-week through July 25th, and are geared for children ages 5 to 18. The sessions run Monday through Thursday, from 8 to 11 a.m.
The cost $25 to $75, depending on the camp location.
Camp is designed for beginner and intermediate players. If your child has never tried tennis, he'll learn how to swing a racket, return a ball, and move around the court. With drills, games, and competetion, tennis is a fun game that can be a lifelong sport.
