Get into the holiday spirit with the Children's Museum of Memphis (CMOM), as they celebrate their Winter Wonderland kick-off this Sat., November 29, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The one-day kick-off event will feature a whirlwind of seasonal activities for all ages including:
- Train rides through museum
- Wandering winter icons for photo opps — Mrs. Claus, snowmen, penguins, and polar bears
- Live performances — STAX Academy and Memphis Youth Symphony Orchestra
- STEAM activity — SIM Robotics session
- Science Sessions with Dr. Jack exploring germs
- Sockefeller sock-skating rink, snowflake art design, elf village workshop, and more!

Winter Wonderland transports little ones into a real-life snowglobe with fun, winter-themed activities from November 29 through January 4, 2026. Some of the post-kick-off seasonal events will include:
- Glide across skating rink to holiday tunes at Sockefeller Center
- Climb inside a snowglobe to strike a pose
- Take a stroll through wintery decor, learning fun facts as you go
- Build a life-sized igloo
- Story time and activities at giant gingerbread house
- Sights and sounds of winter in Role Play Theater — Nutcracker-themed music and props
- Create icy project in Art and Innovation Lab
- Write a letter to Santa

Additionally, CMOM will host its annual New Year’s at Noon celebration on December 31, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., where children can ring in 2026, without staying up all night. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite superheroes and show off their superpowers while enjoying a balloon drop, face painting, art projects, live music by a DJ, candy, and a countdown to the new year.
