Did we just stumble across some of the best cheesecake in town?
My vote is yes! But I'll let you be the judge.
Cheesecake has been a staple at dinner tables for generations, be it family gatherings or even dining out at the restaurant you fancy. While a classic dessert for most occasions, cheesecake works well across the board as a simple, yet savory choice to delight its fans. And I've had my share of many flavors with my favorite being salted caramel. But I believe I have just witnessed next-level flavor that is undescribable.
Meet Travis Brady, owner, and Tyler Jividen, co-owner and head chef of Dvour Desserts. These masterminds have taken the classic cheesecake and transformed it into pure art — inside and out. It doesn't stop there. Their mouthwatering pastries and breads are just as divine with an immense amount of flavor to keep you running back for more.

Fairly new to the downtown area — opening in February of this year — their products have accelerated in the local community as the word spreads about their quality and taste that literally makes you devour them. Whether you're going solo or want the whole cake, no worries, they've got you. From single servings of elegantly-designed cheesecakes to infused cookies, cinnamon rolls, and dare I say the best sausage and eggs soufflé (chef's kiss!) — with plans to continue adding new flavors to their already plentiful menu. You will not be disappointed.
Memphis Parent recently partnered with Dvour Desserts to bring you an array of the many ways cheesecake can be cooked up for your next adventure. Special thanks to the phenomenal team at Dvour Desserts, we feature a special cheesecake variety segment on Bluff City Life w/Gina Neely, and boy, we couldn't put our forks down after the first bite. Watch it HERE — airing November 27, 12 p.m. (CST).
Thank you Dvour Desserts for contributing some of the best cheesecake and pastries I’ve ever tasted. Oh, and they have one disclaimer: devour responsibly!
