Calling all parents and educators to be part of a unique learning opportunity. National leading parenting expert John Rosemond will be in Memphis on January 22-23 to offer three seminars at Bornblum Jewish Community School.
Rosemond reaches out to parents with two of his most popular topics – Parenting with Love and Leadership and Parenting the Strong-Willed Teenager. And he presents a session exclusively for educators on Classroom Management and Leadership.
Why should you attend?
In these engaging presentations, Rosemond clearly pinpoints the way parents can deliver loving leadership from tots to teens. He shows a fool-proof technique to tackle the hard to discipline teenager. In addition, he provides educators with a tool kit to help manage classroom behavior and turn the focus towards academics.
“We appreciate his expertise, his wit, and understanding of child psychology,” notes Dr. Scott and Suzanne Baum, the sponsors for the upcoming workshops. They have attended several of John Rosemond workshops and have truly benefitted from them raising their three (now grown-up) children.
What can parents take away from the workshops?
Rosemond is known for his practical approach to parenting. His workshops help broaden the outlook on childrearing and make changes to one’s parenting style.
“It is a natural inclination as young parents that I want my children to like me and I ought to be friends with them – that’s normal to child upbringing,” points out Dr. Baum. “But after attending the workshops, we definitely changed and realized it’s okay to be ‘The Parent’ and be in charge setting boundaries and rules.”
How does John Rosemond deal with parenting issues?
Rosemond uses humor as a teaching tool and shares anecdotes on how parents handle a situation at different stages of childhood. Parents leave the workshops feeling inspired and informed, empowered and entertained at the same time.
“John Rosemond comes across as a very personable, genuine, and concerned person,” mentions Dr. Baum. “Above all, he comes across as an expert who cites scientific papers in an entertaining way.”
Lastly, Baum encourages parents and family members to go together to these workshops so everyone in the household benefits from Rosemond’s parenting wisdom.
