Growing New Readers by Leaps and Bounds! - Books from Birth 2017 Luncheon at FedEx Event Center @ Shelby Farms

Books from Birth, Shelby County's affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, is "Growing New Readers by Leaps and Bounds!" In fact, in February 2017, BfB mailed books across Shelby County to over 45,000 children age 5 and younger.

Books from Birth is hosting its 2017 Spring Luncheon at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farms. Special Guest: Tennessee First Lady Crissy Haslam talks about her focused work on encouraging parent engagement in education and reading proficiency for children across Tennessee. Additionally, Books from Birth will honor, Bartlett native, Miss Tennessee Grace Burgess for her outstanding advocacy of children's literacy.
