Suicide is among the leading causes of death for Americans between 10 and 54 years old. But many people don’t know the symptoms or how to respond in a crisis involving suicide. At this month’s Healthy Living Speaker Series: A Lifeline to Hope - How to Recognize & Help Prevent Suicide,  local businesswoman Roquita C. Williams will share her story of survival and the executive director of the Memphis Crisis Center will share local resources for suicide prevention and mental health.
