Celebrate the new life and heart health of newborns attending this Congenital Heart Defect Awareness event.  The American Heart Association's Babies Go Red Movement raises awareness among new parents about the most common type of birth defect - 1 in 100 newborns each year are affected by congenital heart defects. 

Babies at every local hospital with maternity services or neonatal intensive care units will receive a red beanie from the American Heart Association and Juice Plus+. Mothers also receive a goodie bag filled with heart-healthy snacks from Juice Plus+
