Modechai Rosenstein Art Opening and Presentation

Memphis, TN - Beth Sholom proudly presents renowned artist Mordechai Rosenstein for a weekend of vibrant, Jewish-inspired art and hands-on activities. An art exhibition and presentation by Rosenstein will kick off the series of events from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, October 15th and is free and open to the public.
The Hebrew Alphabet is the essence of the art of Mordechai Rosenstein. “The floating forms of the letters have been an inspiration to me since my youth.” Attendees will enjoy kosher wine and cheese as Rosenstein gives an enchanting talk about some of his famous pieces and Ketubot, while sharing a slide show and stories of the origins of Jewish art. He will also share stories about events and people who have influenced his work.
