This noonday luncheon helps fund Porter-Leath's Books from Birth program, which provides a monthly book delivered to children under 5 across Shelby County through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. 

Presented by International Paper, the luncheon will host an outstanding panel of local literacy advocates including Dr. Barry Gilmore, Larry Jensen, Dr. Helen Perkins, and Grace Skertich with moderator, Dan Conaway.

At the luncheon, Books from Birth will honor Nancy Bogatin and Barbara Nixon with the A C Wharton, Jr. Literacy Award for superior advocacy of children's literacy.
