#WearOrange for 2nd Annual National Gun Violence Awareness Day
Loflin Yard 7 W Carolina Ave, Memphis, Tennessee 38103
Join us at this family friendly, uplifting gathering as we come together to bring awareness, seek change and recognize lives lost to gun violence. We'll hear speakers, enjoy music, have activities for children, and snacks.
Wear Orange was inspired by friends of Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year old Chicago high school student killed by gunfire. Orange is the color hunters wear in the woods to protect themselves and others. Turn you profile picture orange at http://www.wearorange.org
Hosted by the Memphis Chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a national, grassroots, non-partisan gun violence prevention organization made up of American moms, dads, and supporters who believe we can support the second amendment while doing more to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.
