If you’ve found yourself singing tunes from the Frozen soundtrack, you’re not alone. The music has become an earworm for millions of families. Now you can hear the Memphis Symphony Orchestra’s performance of a range of Disney classics in two special concerts at the Orpheum Theatre on Saturday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m. The Sunday matinee will also include an Instrument Petting Zoo one hour before curtain.

Disney in Concert: Magical Music from the Movies combines the renowned talent of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra with the popular Walt Disney Studio songbook, live singing, and clips from classic Disney films. From popular hits like Frozen’s “Let It Go” to the iconic songs of Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Mary Poppins, this pops concert is sure to delight generations of Disney fans as well as symphony enthusiasts.
The performance of Disney music is special, notes Orpheum CEO Pat Halloran, since the company doesn’t give many arts organizations the permission to perform its works. Best, concert proceeds will benefit the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.
