Looking to learn history in a hands-on way? The NEW Tennessee State Museum opens this week showcasing the history of our state through permanent and temporary exhibits. The Children’s Gallery offers kids an opportunity to explore, play, and discover Tennessee. Walk along a giant map of the state, slide down Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, sing a song in Nashville and Memphis, paint a symbol of Tennessee, or find fossils at the Gray Fossil Site.
