The Shelby County Health Department, Leadership Memphis, and Volunteer Memphis in partnership with the Memphis Housing and Community Development and Memphis Parks are hosting a free Summer Wellness Fair featuring mental health guidance, nutrition advice, family-friendly outdoor activities, giveaways, and more.

The Sleeves Up Shelby County Wellness Fair plans to host a “wellness row” with various local agencies. These agencies will set up booths and will be available to offer free advice. Anyone with a Tenncare EBT card will also receive free health and wellness kits and other gifts.
“Our June 4 Summer Wellness Fair will bring health resources directly to the community,” said Reggie Crenshaw, president and CEO of Leadership Memphis and Volunteer Memphis, in a press release. “We are excited to provide counseling services, wellness kits, and much more to people in a place they trust.”
The Summer Wellness Fair will also feature a host of free family activities like face painters, caricature artists, bouncy houses, and slides for everyone to enjoy. In addition, Memphis Parks will celebrate the grand re-opening of the Ed Rice Community Center.
The Sleeves Up Shelby County Summer Wellness Fair is scheduled for June 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Ed Rice Community Center in Frayser Park located at 2907 N. Watkins Street.
