For kids' fishing rodeos, all you need are rods, bait, and a bit of luck.

Kids ages 4 to 12 can participate. Categories include ages 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Sign-in begins at 8 a.m., poles go in at 9. Weigh in at 11 a.m. Afterwards, kids will enjoy a tasty lunch. Prizes will be awarded in each age category for the most pounds caught. Prizes include bikes as well as rods and reels. Each child will also receive a goody bag.

Open to kids ages 4 to 14. Entry is $10, kids keep their catch (catfish). Kids ages 10 and under register at 7 a.m. and fish from at 7:30 to 9 a.m. Kids ages 11-15 register at 9:30 a.m. and fish from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Prizes given for first fish, largest first, and most fish caught.

Kids ages 5 to 17 will cast their line at this free fishing derby on Navy Lake. Small Fry Division: ages 5-10; Jr. Division: ages 11-15. Kids under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Prizes given for the biggest fish and most fish caught. Register at the ITT Office, located in the Ellison Recreation Center (Building S-499).
