"3 moms. 8 kids. No filter."
That's how podcasters Jen Mayer Kulp, Corri English, and Kaela Kinney describe themselves. And when you listen to one of their 100+ episodes available on Spotify, Apple, and other services, you'll learn just how fun and informative that combination can be.
Their podcast, Hi, My Name is Mom, covers topics that hit home — especially for working moms trying to juggle the demands of motherhood with their own growth as creators and entrepreneurs. Each episode ranges from 10-minute shorts to hour-long discussions about everything from postpartum body image and IVF to escaping abusive relationships and dealing with the stomach flu.
"We were all in different stages of motherhood when we started spending a lot of time together," says Corri English, who is an actor, voiceover artist, and singer-songwriter. "We were having these very open, honest talks, like the no-filter kind that you really need, and realized they were so therapeutic for us. Whether it was the huge mom wins or the really low mom lows, we realized that sharing these conversations with other moms might be really helpful for them, too. So, we decided to pull up a mic and share them broadly."
With over 100 episodes available, the podcast is created and produced by English, along with her friends Jen Mayer Kulp, a reality tv executive, and Kaela Kinney, entrepreneur and creator of K'LA Straps. From adjusting the mics to post-production, the three friends co-host and co-create together while determining which topics to cover and which guests to invite on to the show.

"[We cover] topics that run the gamut from uber serious such as grief and loss, bullying, mom health scares, fertility issues, and postpartum anxiety, to episodes that are decidedly lighter in tone," says English. "We've discussed how to parent other people’s children, sex and intimacy after baby, what to expect from your body after birth, navigating the 'sanctimommies', tasting your breastmilk, postpartum body odor, and what secrets we are keeping from our spouses. This season will see some of the best content we’ve ever dropped!"
English notes that since the three hosts have different parenting styles and beliefs, their goal from the beginning has been to create a no-judgement zone, where the common thread is simply loving their kids. "Our listeners and viewers are truly a part of our 'Mom tribe'," she says.
